Who we are
This website is run by TSB Ironcraft, a sole trader business based at Unit B, Spring Street Works, Spring Street, Rishton, BB1 4LL. We are the "controller" of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at timbirbeck@btinternet.com or on 07946 559 212.
What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through the enquiry form on our contact page, or by phone or email:
- your name, email address and (optionally) phone number;
- the service you are interested in and the details of your project;
- any photos you choose to upload (up to six).
Please do not include photos of people, or any sensitive personal information, in your enquiry.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
The legal reason we can do this is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and for our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
What happens when you send the form
Your enquiry, including any photos, is sent by email directly to us. It is not saved in a database on this website. It then sits in our email account like any other email.
Who else sees it
We do not share your enquiry with anyone else. It passes through the company that hosts this website and our email provider, who handle it only so that we can receive it.
The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps. When you visit that page, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. You can read how Google handles this in Google's privacy policy.
The fonts and images on this website are served from this website itself. Apart from the map, this website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to any work, we keep it for up to 12 months in case you get back in touch, and then delete it. If we do work for you, we keep the relevant records for as long as we need them for the guarantee, safety testing and accounting reasons.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, just contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
